Information We Collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, business name, and details you choose to share about your bookkeeping needs. We do not collect payment information through this website.
How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through this website is used to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to provide your services. It is never sold, rented, or traded. It is shared only with service providers that help me run the business — such as website hosting, scheduling, email, and QuickBooks — and only as needed for those purposes.
Confidentiality of Financial Records
Client financial records — including QuickBooks Online files, bank statements, and supporting documents — are treated as strictly confidential. Access is limited to what is necessary to perform the engagement, and records are shared only at your written direction, with service providers that help me deliver the work, or where required by law.
QuickBooks Connection
With your permission, I connect to your QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's secure sign-in. The connection is read-only unless you approve a specific correction. Connection keys are stored encrypted on my own computer — never on this website — and are never shared or sold. You can disconnect at any time from your QuickBooks settings or by asking me. Online invoice payments are processed by Intuit; I never receive or store your card or bank account numbers.
Data Security
We use reputable, access-controlled software (including QuickBooks Online and secure document sharing) and take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid emailing sensitive account numbers. Working copies of client reports are kept on an encrypted computer, separated by client.
Artificial Intelligence
I may use AI tools to help draft plain-English explanations. Every dollar figure is calculated by bookkeeping software from your records, not by AI, and your QuickBooks data is processed by AI only on my own computer — it is not sent to outside AI services.
Cookies and Analytics
This website may use basic cookies and aggregate analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. This data is not used to identify individual visitors.
Do Not Track
This website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. It uses only the basic cookies and aggregate analytics described above.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you submitted through this site by emailing us. We retain client records only as long as needed for service delivery and legal or tax recordkeeping requirements.
Changes to This Policy
If I make material changes to this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page and post the new version here. Current clients will also be notified by email.
