Bookkeeping for West Texas Trucking Companies
A trucking company's books are full of the same few things: fuel, driver pay, repairs and tires, truck loan payments, insurance, and customers who pay on their own schedule. Coded wrong, they hide whether a month made or lost money.
I set up and keep QuickBooks Online so those categories are right, reconcile every account monthly, and tell you in plain English what happened.
What I look for every month
- Loan payments lumped into expenses instead of split between principal and interest.
- Card payments and transfers booked as expenses.
- Duplicate bills, invoices and payments, and transposed numbers.
- Customer payments received but never applied to an invoice.
- Overdrawn accounts and money sitting in clearing or suspense accounts.
- Vendor price increases and unusual charges.
- Contractors who may need a 1099.
What you receive
The 2-page summary, the full monthly report and the interactive what-if tool come with every plan.
